“ Gosh I've been eating here since the old man "the owner" was young lmao, since my wife and I were 2 scrawny kids, now we're in our 50s and still purchasing the delicious pizza, I wish that they could do something to get rid off of all the bums that think they can be harassing costumers, nothing will stop me from buying my pizza, but I do wish that those bunch of useless bums got kicked out of their front door... ”
“ We were in reading to see a show, and Maria's Lounge was down the street from the Arena. Spanish food was really good, and I had a variety to pick from. The service was excellent, and the price was reasonable. It was definitely worth it. ”

“ Hey. My name is BigDaveIsFat and I am here to find out which “Greasy Spoon” in Reading, Pa has the best meatball sandwich. First up is Maria’s located on Penn Street. This is one of the oldest spoons in the City of Reading and today I ordered a meatball sub with extra cheese, on a toasted roll with a side of fries. The delivery didn’t take long and my food was hot upon delivery. I opened the fries first and was pleased to see that they had a nice golden texture. I grabbed one and ate it then added some Adobo. I then opened the container holding the sandwich to find one of the most prettiest sandwiches I’ve ever saw. It was toasted to perfection. All of the extra cheese was inside of the sandwich. The mozzarella cheese was neatly placed which gave the roll an opportunity to shine & folks, it did. Please view the video. Each meatball was sliced and placed throughout the entire roll. Believe it not, this separates good from bad when it comes to meatball subs. Many places put the meatballs in whole. So when you bite it, you pull the entire ball out of the sandwich. Having to stuff the meatball back in or act a fool & eat the entire meatball. Leaving a hole in the bread for your next bite. Finally, the amount of sauce on this sandwich could NOT have been better. It was not too much and my sandwich was NOT DRY! I’ve had many & those places are the reason why I hardly ever eat sandwiches that have red sauce, but in this case, I am very happy I did. The ratio between each ingredient used was “Spot On Perfect!” They fries were average at best. The meatball sandwich from Maria’s will be very hard to beat. In fact, I do not think anyone’s will. A perfect 5 out of 5 for this one. They call me BigDaveIsFat & my name says it all. “Get Your Grub On!” ”
